The $CP$ asymmetry of $B^+\rightarrow D^{(*)+}\bar{D}^0$ and $B^+\rightarrow D_s^+\bar{D}^0$ decays was measured in two datasets. The first corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb$^{-1}$ collected during LHC Run I with the LHCb detector, while the second contains 6.0 fb$^{-1}$ in Run II. The datsets were combined to obtain:
$\mathcal{A}^\mathrm{CP}(B^+\rightarrow D^{+}\bar{D}^0) = (0.7 \pm 1.0 \pm 0.4)\%$, $\mathcal{A}^\mathrm{CP}(B^+\rightarrow D_s^+\bar{D}^0) = (-2.6 \pm 0.2 \pm 0.5)\%$, $\mathcal{A}^\mathrm{CP}(B^+\rightarrow D^{*+}\bar{D}^0) = (1.6 \pm 1.5 \pm 0.4)\%$,
where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic. It was observed that the $D^+_s$ mode shows hints of $CP$ violation within the Standard Model limits.
Preliminary Histograms
Histograms used to determine which variables are better at disciminating between S&N.
ML Training
A BDT was trained on the data to remove as much of the background as possible.
